Thanks to this great tutorial
https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?p=765733#765733
I finally got my nvidia tv-out working. I have only one small problem with the kde panel.
With doing
Code: |
DISPLAY=:0.1 mplayer -fs
|
I play my movies in a second display that's shown on my tv. That works fine.
Now when I open a program in my first screen (that's my "normal" kde desktop) everything still is fine, but when I minimalize the window it goes in the taskbar on the both panels on the first display (computer) and the second (tv). Unless I close the application the panel stays under the video that's being played.
Is there something I can do that the panel doesn't show up on the second display?

I can't remember what I did to remove mine but you might want to look at ~/.kde/share/config/kicker-screen-1rc _________________ The only real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes! |

Thank you!
I put the position and the size to 0, and at least one of these options made the panel disappear |
