Hi,
I'm using banshee-0.11.2. However I can't seem to import music; folders, files, home directory, all of them don't work.
Also, when I try to run banshee in root, it just terminates:

try re-emerging it? did you try re-emerging dbus as well? |

Okay got it to work, looks like the latest mono (unstable branch) doesn't work well banshee. |

Yeah, there's a bug with mono 1.2
Hopefully it gets fixed soon |

the bug isn't fixed in 1.2.1 sadly but a quick fix could be setting
gconftool-2 --set /apps/Banshee/IOBackend --type string systemio _________________ ex: Gentoo Linux Developer: amd64 media-optical sound gnome
ex: Portuguese Moderator
