why was the jiffies timer frequencey patch removed from r3? r2 had it and I liked it.
and erm, is there any place where i see some sort of changelog for the gentoo and gaming -sources kernel packages?? |

Changelog is put inside the dir of the package in portage tree.. 
e.g.
/usr/portage/sys-kernel/gaming-sources/ChangeLog
