becasue I wasted a lot of time and a cd
I'm trying to install gentoo from minimal iso. After a while any command cannot be found
In the console 12's logs I can figure out:
run_progra exec /sbin/udev/udev_run_hotplugd failed and udev_run_devd failed
I though it was due to I used an old rw cd and there were a problem reading that cd. But I burnt a new one and I got the same errors |

is the system booting up fine or do you get errors while starting up?
try to start with: "gentoo nox" so you have a better look at the startup process |

Did you check the iso with its md5 checksum? It might not have downloaded correctly. |
