|
|
Hi!
I was asking this a while ago (https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-507591-highlight-.html) but since nobody knew the solution I'll try again.
revdep-rebuild wants to rebuild gcc 4.1.1. And after having done so it wans to rebuild gcc 4.1.1 again and again.
Code: | Checking dynamic linking consistency...
broken /usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/4.1.1/libgcjawt.la (requires /usr/lib/../lib64/lib-gnu-java-awt-peer-gtk.la)
broken /usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/4.1.1/libgij.la (requires /usr/lib/../lib64/libgcj.la)
broken /usr/lib64/gcc/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/4.1.1/libgcjawt.la (requires /usr/lib/../lib64/lib-gnu-java-awt-peer-gtk.la)
broken /usr/lib64/gcc/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/4.1.1/libgij.la (requires /usr/lib/../lib64/libgcj.la)
|
And indeed...
Code: | # qfile libgcj.la
sys-devel/gcc (/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/4.1.1/libgcj.la)
# ls -l /usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/4.1.1/libgcj.la
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 1058 Oct 26 23:13 /usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/4.1.1/libgcj.la
# ls -l /usr/lib/../lib64/libgcj.la
ls: /usr/lib/../lib64/libgcj.la: No such file or directory |
Thanks for ideas...

You can get avoid from these error messages by editing the files:
libgcjawt.la
libgij.la
libgcjawt.la
libgij.la
Just correct the path in the files. Ok, this is no final solution. But until the next gcc-update does it work.
The strange thing is: A have this error as both in gcc3.xx and in gcc4.xx. There are only different files but the same error type. |
