nexuiz 2.1 doesn't download the new map automaticaly

i had problems with reiserfs so i made a fresh install on a ext3 hard disk
i also re-installed nexuiz but the problem is that nexuiz 2.0 and 2.1 doesn't download map automaticaly...mabe a -permission problem or a setting i have changed accidentaly
what should i do?

mabe i didn't use the same ebuild because nexuiz 2.1 is now in portage

hmmm, normally there aren't any problems with the automatic map download, so it could be a network related problem on your client or the server you tried to join didn't support the download. try playing around with the following cvars in the console (shift+esc):

cl_curl_enabled | download support enabled (master switch, default: 1)
cl_curl_maxdownloads | maximum number of downloads at once (default: 1)
cl_curl_maxspeed | maximum total speed in KiB/s (default: 100)

just put the *.pk3's in your nexuiz/data directory and enjoy
