OK so I was trying to install beyrl but I failed and I decided to uninstall what I had done.
Now when I am xfce there is no window boarders, the xfce window manager doesn't seem to enguage.
Where do I start? I recompiled the whole of xfce4 but that didn't help.
I just don't know were to begin. _________________ Never take raisins from a rabbit

Woah I had a a random idea to just create a different user account and test it out. Sure enough everything works fine.
Must be a config for my account file is messed up somewhere. Anyone have an idea what it could be? _________________ Never take raisins from a rabbit |

Well it could be a couple of things depending on what you changed. If you're using xfce's session manager, it's probably related to that. Delete everything from ~/.cache/sessions. Or just open an xterm window and run Then close the xterm window and save your session on exit. If it's not that, check ~/.config/xfce4-session/xfce4-session.rc and make sure it's launching xfwm4 and not beryl or something.

Try removing ~/.config/xfce*. You will have to reconfigure xfce for that user, though. |

What? No! That shouldn't be necessary unless you don't care about resetting everything up again for your user. |
