I was thinking about setting up a team to write a "how to" on using Gentoo as a base for low end desktop PC' - using WM's like Waimea and Fluxbox. This, of couse, would be a part of the grand Gentoo documentation project.
Is anyone interested in joining me in this venture? |

don't have time for it atm, but I was considering it myself, had a quick look on the desktop guide to see if it had anything on alsa and sound quality a while ago, and thought hell, we need another one that doesen't explain the way using the kde libs , for people on slow systems compiling that crap will take ages. |
