The lawsuit isn't entirely rediculous. It is pretty silly, but keep in mind that instead of a whole concert, they got barely three songs. Most of the songs he messed up, too. Then he just passed out and the show was cancelled. It wasn't just a poor performance, it was more of a non-performance. Now, if the concert-goers are just suing to get their money back, I understand. Anything more is just greedy.
OTOH, they got to see Scott Stapp pass out drunk on stage. I'd pay to see that. |

I think I would want my money back too. I was kinda surprised that the article made such a point about them being 'a Christian band'. I know Creed hasn't come out and said, "Hey, we're a Christian band and we want to be known as a Christian band." Their lyrics certainly seem influenced by Christian themes, but they haven't claimed to be a Christian band to my knowledge.
I guess I don't know where the author came up with the whole "it couldn't have happened to a more deserving band" thing. I know a lot of bands that deserve ridicule and rebuke more than Creed. I'm not trying to defend what they did. Like I said, I would want my money back too, but saying that anyone deserved this is a cheap shot. I'm sure the fans didn't deserve it and I'm sure that Creed didn't want to piss off their fans, nor did they deserve in some karmic sense to piss their fans off. _________________ if i never try anything, i never learn anything..

I think the main problem here (*opinion*aside from someone paying to see Creed in concert*opinion*) is that someone thinks that they have been personaly wronged in that a concert fucked up. Fine, sue for the ticket price, I'm sure they would have been reinbursed anyhow. Hell, sue for time lost if that were possible.
When I went to see the FNM, GNR, Metallica show that floundered at the big O in Montreal, all that really happenned was some breaking of stuff and ticket refunds.
I just wish that people would stop wasting time and tax-payer money just to make a quick buck.
And again, why would you pay to see Creed... |

| It's like going to see a famous play and having the main caracter drunk off his ass. I would want my money back, too. |

I would want my money worth if that happened - but calling Creed no good, that has to be a sin of some sort...
They should do a refund concert instead, free if you can show a valid ticket for the crappy concert. |

I would understand if they just want their money back, but 1.3Million £ (~6.5$?) is what I don't understand. What's the reason for 1.3m£? Maybe they got traumas, which needed a terapist |

Perhaps from the mental trauma of actually seeing Creed live? |

| That is a rediculous law suit. People should get their money back, and maybe a little (like $20) for reinbursment... but millions split between four people... |

Maybe some free tickets to another creed concert and some VIP treatment and a refund. That would seem to be a good enough repairation.
