Hello,
since a few weeks, I have a new Computer. Mainboard is a GA-M55plus-S3G ( withe nVIDIA Geforce 6100 Northbridge and nForce 430 Southbridge ).
I also have intern a PCI Soundblaster Live, which works perfect.

lspci -v | grep -i audio say's
Code:

00:10.1 Audio device: nVidia Corporation MCP51 High Definition Audio (rev a2)
01:08.0 Multimedia audio controller: Creative Labs SB Live! EMU10k1 (rev 06)

So, I activated in my kernel ( 2.6.18 from Kernel.org ) the EMU10k1 Module for the Soundblaster Live and the Intel /SiS/ nVidia/AMD / ALi AC97 Controller Module.

After compiling and copying the new kernel to /boot/ , I entered both module into the config file /etc/modules.autoload.d/kernel-2.6

After reboot, alsaconf show's me only the Soundblaster Live card.

Any help ?

Greetings Bodo

Try activating the "Intel HD Audio" module in your kernel for the onboard card.
My m/b is almoast the same as yours (mine is GA-M55S-S3) and that module works for my on-board audio.

Thanks that was it. I had selected the wrong module :)

Edit : When I start KDE, I do not hear the typical KDE Welcome Sound. But other music files like mp3 files I can hear, but not files withe the extension *.ogg. Why ? That's unnormal. Any solution for that ?
