If you don't post your emerge --info, it becomes very hard to diagnose possible sources of the problem. If it doesn't help, so be it, but it might, so why not post it? |

And indeed I do. To my eternal shame, I can reproduce this bug, I just didn't notice it before 
Its not reproducible with -r4, so I filed this bug. |
