Just what what everybody considered themselves. I am an introvert, BTW. Although I prefer the term geek.
If you're not sure what the term mean, see here:
Introvert
Extrovert
EDIT: Or, if you don't like the dictionary.com definitions, you can use mine, which sound better.
Introvert: Someone who keeps to themselves, not socializing much. Maybe just too interested in their hobbies to have time for other people.
Extrovert: Outgoing, friendly, likes to interact with other people.
EDIT2: I dunno what I did, but the poll dissappeared. I re-added it, but all the votes are gone. :/
EDIT3: Weird... just ignore the extra introvert/extrovert options. Neither is supposed to be the same thing as in between.
EDIT4: As I suspected, by editing the post again, the poll dissappeared again. Also, I again have to options to add a poll... but not to edit it, since the current poll doesn't show up.
* The Khan Artist is going insane
EDIT5: http://www.phpbb.com/bugs/bug.php?op=show&bugid=1309
I hope phpBB 2.0.5 is out soon.

| i chose neither...simply because it varies alot based on how comfortable i am with my surroundings. i tend to be more shy around people i am worried about making a good impression with (employers, my GF's parents, etc) while around my friends and people im not worried about impressing i am alot more outgoing |

Anyone else have to take those aptitude tests in HS where you had to answer like 100+ questions and then a week or two later you got results back telling you what kind of profession you should go into?
Yeah, they told me I'm an introvert and should go into computers. Gee, thanks!
Shows what they know, I'm going into physics so I can play with big computers |

I picked neither because how I feel often depends on my environment. I enjoy socializing but never feel compelled to do so. I also seldom if ever get bored when alone. _________________ Screenshot |

Extrovert... try and shut me up for 5 seconds and you'll find out why..
[EDIT] Hmm, after reading the description at dictionary.com I'm not sure about that, and I'm especially not sure about my reasoning above. But I'll stick to my guns on this occasion[/EDIT]

Bad definition of introvert.
It sounds like I'm some kind of egoistic freak. |

I tend to be very friendly and talkative over the internet, and even over the phone, but no much so face to face. Especially around girls. Most of the girls I've known think I'm some kind of freak (I mean, come on, I , like, write computer programs and make websites!). I have a half-dozen friends who like PCs and anime, and we get along well.
On the net, I tend to hang out in places where I can talk to people who have the same interests I do, so I get very conversational. There's not much I find more gratifying than helping some poor newbie learn a bit more about how his computer works.
BTW, I'm 17.

Me? I'm an ingrown extrovert.
(Hats off to P.G. Wodehouse; it was in some Jeeves book. There was an opposite one but I don't remember the adjective.) _________________ Man must shape his tools lest they shape him. |

Is it just me, or did the poll dissappear when I edited the post?
EDIT: Man, this is weird. I went to edit it again, and the edit box had the standard add poll options. So, I added the poll back in. It reappeared... with the old options. Now, when I go to edit, I don't see the poll options. |

| Introvert when I'm around extroverts, extrovert when I'm around introverts...I like balence in a group. I'm usually introverted around girls I don't know that well. Somewhat introvert around girls I do know. (so I'm a shy guy around girls...doesn't change the fact that the majority of my friends are female). |

i am usually quite suspicious when i hear about psychology tests, but i actually found this one interesting:
test
evaluation:
http://typelogic.com/
http://www.personalitypage.com/high-level.html
i'm INTJ - although its plain bullshit to sort everyone into one of 16 categories, i found the description surprisingly accurate _________________ To an engineer the glass is neither half full, nor half empty - it is just twice as big as it needs to be. |

I am actually a Transpersonal Psychology major, and Jung is one of the founders of Transpersonal Thought. He was quite a smart man! I do agree that its hard to classify everyone into groups, but hey, you said it yourself | Quote: | | i found the description surprisingly accurate |
I am also an INTJ.

INTP
Logical, original, creative thinkers. Can become very excited about theories and ideas. Exceptionally capable and driven to turn theories into clear understandings. Highly value knowledge, competence and logic. Quiet and reserved, hard to get to know well. Individualistic, having no interest in leading or following others.

glad to hear that i stumbled upon the real thing
only NT so far ... i asked a few friends at university (technical chemistry) to try this test and although thats far from representative i was surprised that quite some of them where NT too, although i read somewhere that only a few percent belong to that type...
i guess its similar here - 7 of 7 are NT - looks like we are a bunch off eggheads _________________ To an engineer the glass is neither half full, nor half empty - it is just twice as big as it needs to be. |

Hell yeah
Quite some of the questions I couldn't really answer or I didn't feel confident I understood them properly. They used a lot of difficult words, where, I think, they could have put it more clear/easy. |

The wording of the test was more than likely carefully selected for a reason. Thats psychology for ya!
