Hello,

I have a problem with Quake III Arena for Linux. I can install it without any problems whatsoever, but it will not run. It'll open up a window, make it full screen, then terminate. I had the same problem when I tried Tremulous for Linux.

I suspect that it might have something to do with the drivers for my graphics "card", but I'm not sure, and I hope someone else who have a card like I do, can tell me if it works for them.

My card is an Intel GMA900, i915:

Does games-fps/quake3-bin work? (it may be 'just' a problem with the quake from icculus ?)

It seems to work quite okay, except that I don't get any sound at all... :/ Thanks anyway. :)

Well, it didn't help. The problem lied somewhere in my user account setting, so I solved it by creating a new profile/user account on my computer. Thanks anyway though. :)
