There has been some real classic bug reports out there but what is your favourite? What is the funniest?
Do you prefer the gaim one where they dont like people asking for help? (also known as the only time Seemant got annoyed )
Or the Dev vs Dev (round one)?
What about your favourite nonsense bug report? There are a few out there!

While this is in 'Gentoo Chat' I've changed the topic to: 'Whats The Funniest Gentoo Bug Report?'. Otherwise this one should go into OTW. Deal? _________________ "To have a successful open source project, you need to be at least somewhat successful at getting along with people." -- Daniel Robbins |

| I like bug #40653, comment 5 as well, although the gaim one is by far the favorite. |

| The "Lick my swamp" one is kinda a classic... Bug 10000 is quite good too. But, uh, please don't go around filing more "goats cheese" crap, stuff like that just wastes time. |

That reminds me of this advert that used to be on british tv.
It was for some kind of kellogs candy bar. The mascot for the product was a cartoon cow called "Uter the Cow". He had a milk gun which was charged via "his" udder, with hoses going from his teets to his milk gun. "He" was supposed to be this Arnold Schwarzenegger kind of tough fighter. And I think I recall that he had a few catch phrases that certainly made him sound male and that resembled some of Arnolds catchphrases. Allthough my memory may be failing me here.
Nonetheless, I never could get over that gender mess. I mean, uter is not like larry the cow. As stated in the bugzilla report, you can call a bull a cow. But uter produced milk!! At least I hope that was milk, otherwise that would have been a very disturbing commercial. |

| Slightly off topic but Ubuntu bug #1 is pretty good and applies to all Linux distributions. |

I wonder how long that would take to actually emerge everything. Assuming it would actually go through without failing at all. _________________ Every iPhone is a gift from God. |

It would fail at some point. Some packages would block eathother. |

Nice thread cokehabit. You know it's good when ciarnm gets into the spirit and posts something.
And four devs on the first page, wow! Very good thread indeed! _________________ Please read the Forum Guidelines.
