Witam.
Od początku postawienia systemu mam problem z udevem. mianowicie przy starcie systemu wywala mi kilka tysiecy takich bledow

problem ten wystepuje w wersji 096, 098 i najnowszej 100. system jest na x86_64, ~amd64. podczas zamykania systemu jest to samo.nie mam zmegrowanego ani hotpluga ani coldpluga.
No i jest problem z fstabem, ktory nie montuje mi (jakby zupelnie je omijał) innych partycji prócz / i swapa.

nie montuje niezaleznie od ustawienia ostatnich dwóch opcji (0 0, 1 0, 1 2 etc)
IMHO to tez ma związek z udevem.
i taka malutka sprawa, ze cdrom jest oznaczony jako /dev/hdc i tak trzeba go montowac, a nie /dev/cdrom czy /dev/cdroms/cdrom0, ale to juz nie jest jakis problem wielki, tylko mnie to zastanawia
sprzet to laptop HP Pavilion dv5000
any ideas?

IMHO to tez ma związek z udevem.

| te tysiace errorow to mialem jak przenosilem system na 2 dysk kopiujac pliki jak leci mc, ale wszystko dzialal pomimo tych errorow to mozna olac chyba |

A może "po prostu" nie mają atrybutu exec (+x)?

Może Ci sie moja odpowiedź nie spodobać ale napisze co myśle. Spróbuj zrobić reinstalke Gentoo - pomaga na wszystko. Ja miałem kiedyś problem z Kernelem bo wgrałem nie tego co trzeba i po reinstalce wszystko było OK.

to rzeczywisie rozwiazanie problemu ;], ale domyslam sie ze kolega swiezo po przesiadce z windowsa? bo zmiana kernela raczej nie wymaga 2/3 dni instalacji. (ja najpierw wsio kompiluje, a jak sys sie juz nadaje to robie kernela).

co do bledow z udevem uzyj etc-update zeby zaktualizowac konfiguracje
Konkretnie chodzi o plik /etc/udev/rules.d/50-udev.rules |

coz... nie ma to jak przetestowac wszelkie rozwiązania, a pominąc najbardziej oczywiste.. cóż.. zdarza się, tylko nie bijcie

a, wlasnie. pozostaje jednak ciagle problem z tym nieszczesnym fstabem, ktory nie montuje /home i /usr/portage kolejno na /devhda3 i hda5.

Adding 80284k swap on /dev/hda6. Priority:-1 extents:1 across:80284k

recznie poprzez mount /dev/hda3 /mnt/x normalnie da sie zamontować itp. ale co z tego, skoro mount tam nie zagląda (dla próby spod livecd zamontowalem tą partycje, przenioslem zawartosc /home na hda3, odmontowalem, zrebootowalem, odpalilem gentoo, ale po zalogowaniu wywalilo mi, ze nie ma odpowiedniego katalogu w /home itp.

problem rozwiazany z fstabem. pomoglo usuniecie ze WSZYSTKICH partycji opcji noauto, a nie tylko z /
