Hi,
I have a digital video disc recorder (vdr based on linvdr) in my living room and I wan to play the recordings from my working PC which is set up by gentoo. This usually should work with the xine-plugin running on the vdr (is enabled) which acts as server and xine on the client PC (my working PC with gentoo). However whenever I try to start a stream (with vdradmin) I get the following two messages:
=> "There is no input plugin availabe to handle 'video0//... maybe MRL syntax is wrong or file/stream source doesn't exist."
=> "The specified file or mrl is not found. Please check it twice. (video"
The same happens when I try to start the stream with Code: | xine vdr-socket:/192.168.130.4/video0/.../001.vdr |
Live-Streaming with mplayer works well with Code: | mplayer http://192.168.130.4:3000/PES/3 |
As far as I could figured out, my emerged xine is still missing the input plugin for the vdr-streams. However I emerged xine-ui as well as xine-libs with USE="vdr dvb".
Does anyone know this problem and how to solve it ?
Who can help me to solve it ?
