I'm looking for a program that can create a list of my AudioCD, collecting information from a CDDB source.

Can someone advice me?

Thanks

This site may help you. Although none of the listed programs seem to be in the Portage tree. They may still be worth looking into.

There is also CDDB-Get in the Portage tree. I am not familiar with it though. It may come of some use also. Hope this helps.

cddb.pl (emerge CDDB_get) is a niftly little command line utility that generates a list such as:
Code:
artist: Tom Waits
title: The Early Years Volume 2
category: folk
cddbid: 980a610d
trackno: 13
track 1: Hope I dont fall in love with you
track 2: Ol' 55
track 3: Mockin'bird
...

The rip program (emerge rip) uses this to rip cd tracks, convert them to a non-.wav format and name the files and directories conveniently. It is Perl code so it may be easy to extract the renaming parts of the code. :)
