|
|
Hi!
After having performed all the steps of the install, I rebooed my machine to brung up gentoo - which never happens.. My kernel hangs.
I use ext3 and have added support for it and debugging into the kernel (2.4.19). Is there anyway to 'erase' the configuration files before i run make? I use 'make menuconfig'.
I have a lot of unix experience, mostly Irix so I am open even if the suggestions you might have are a bit complicated =)
cheers,
Henric |

NB!
I am not getting a panic... The kernel just hangs and all system activity stops..
thanks again.

Best way to clean your kernel source tree is 'make mrproper'. |
