I am having an extremely odd problem right now. I just built a computer with the following parts:
Mobo: ASUS M2NPV-VM
CPU: AMD Sempron 3000+ Socket AM2
Ram: Dual Channel DDR2 1 GB (2X 512)
I first used the 2006.0 minimal cd. It boots very nicely 100% of the time. I went through the manual and thought I had it successfully installed, after all, I've done this numerous times on other computers. But alas, as I boot, the screen just stays blank. So I shut off the framebuffer. What happens? It gets as far as "IO SCHEDULER CFG REGISTERED, and It just sits there. So, I decided to get me a copy of the 2006.1 LiveCD. I try booting that, exact same thing happens. Can anyone tell me what is going on?
