I saw the latest Gentoo Newsletter which made me interested in this topic. And there is just one thing I wanted to say to the hero who wants to make you believe he has hacked the boot logo while beeing a hackvirgin.
I`ve seen this before and in the german wiki! And it seems to me as if Mike Mandel <mandel at stud dot fh-hannover de> has translated it. Just a cheap 1:1 copy!!!

Maybe there should be some more options for larry and G-logo too. I think others are too for particular taste. G-logo and Larry are official logos and should be supported officialy, others are for tweakers. Why not to make a wiki topic containing those other options. Or maybe special ebuilds?

Of course not all of you. Perhaps my words were a bit to hard. But I understand the guy woh has written the german wiki. If you look at both you`ll see, that even the first sentences are exactly copied.
I don`t think the lizard has any special meaning. It just looks good. But don`t you think it has more of a chameleon than a lizard?
In my oppinion this would suit to gentoo because it is also versatile. |

Well, I figure a chamleon is type of lizard, so if I called it a lizard I could cover all of my bases.
