I know the vanilla wouldn't have gentoo logos. What I meant, was the option to change the logo originally in the vanilla kernel? |

Agreed, as I said before we need the power of LArry to compile our systems. _________________ Gentoo: Gigabyte: nFORCE 2: nVIDIA GeForce 6600: AMD Athlon XP 3200+

OK, I've tested the six images in that pack I posted, and they all work flawlessly. Here's another pack of the same images, except in kernel-ready PPM format.
I used gentoo-sources-2.6.17-r8, but considering that nobody seems to have touched the kernel code since 2003, I'd expect it to work on pretty much any 2.6-series kernel you happen to fancy
Enjoy! _________________ Ryzen 5600x; Asus TUF Gaming B550-Plus; Geforce 1660 Super

Larry is a male name, and you're naming a female moscot a male name; it's very confusing
I like gentoo to have a very disctictive logo, but we need to fix this issue some how first.
what do you think guys? |

OMG, what is happening to the world? It is very well known Larry is a gender-confused cow, can't you just leave Larry be? He is happy like that don't you noticed in his/her eyes? _________________ Gentoo: Gigabyte: nFORCE 2: nVIDIA GeForce 6600: AMD Athlon XP 3200+

This one is really fantastic .

That's a pity. The Larry's head should be in a slightly different (deep-purple?) color in my opinion. _________________ Sabayon Professional 1.1 (czyli zdradziłem oryginalne Gentoo)

Yes, I am the author. If I'd copied anything from the German gentoo-wiki I'd have credited it (as I did here). However, the entire "Do it Right" section was written by me, except for a small amount which was rehashed from sources already in the same page. I figured out all of the new material I entered on that page by using common sense, a copy of the kernel sources and a text editor. Nothing was copied from any other article, and I have to say that I find it somewhat offensive that you'd suggest otherwise. Kindly be more tactful before accusing people of plagiarism in future.
However, those are good logos (even though I've already posted the second one). _________________ Ryzen 5600x; Asus TUF Gaming B550-Plus; Geforce 1660 Super

It is possible you both came up with it indepently of each other.
I suppose you could link to each other in case someone who speaks the opposite language runs across the article... or just to keep the peace. _________________ My Linux Blog
