|
|
The booting from the CD goes without any problems, but then
I've to load the drivers for the network card with
"modprobe ......"
but I don't know what driver to load.
I have a USB network card from a company called Sohoware
it's model NUB100 (a little blue colored 10/100 Mbit box)
I can get this card working under redhat 7.1 and 7.3 with the
3c509 driver, but this doesn't work for gentoo linux. Also it's
auto detected by Mandrak 8.1.
Any ideas how to get this working ???

You probably need the pegasus USB driver. This driver covers almost any USB based 100Mbit NIC. Sadly, I don't think its included in the 1.2 ISO. I'm having the exact same problem myself. _________________ StrCrssd
