*Prevent Blackdown-jdk with java Use flag enabled?- Solved *

Hi.

I have been using gentoo now for about 6 months, this weekend I have replaced my main desktop linux (which was suse) with gentoo - I am really liking it !.

After i enable the java use flag when I try and emerge a package that uses it (i.e firefox or openoffice) it trys to install blackdown-java.

I have installed sun-jre-bin and sun-jdk I have chosen sun-jdk as default java with java-config.

I have also edited these files.

/etc/java-config-2/build/jdk.conf -

(I added this line)

*=sun-jdk

and added the following lines to /etc/java-config-2/virtuals

jre=sun-jre-bin
jdk=sun-jdk

But still it wants to download blackdown-java.

Any ideas how to prevent it ?

You will need java 1 versions of the sun's, too. I don't remember the exact version, but you should merge the latest 1.4 ones, like this
