Hola.
Tras unos cambios de hardware en mi pc me decidí a instalar de nuevo gentoo. He realizado la migración

Code: |
Load "glx"
#Load "dri"
# SubSection "extmod"
# Option "omit xfree86-dga" # don't initialise the DGA extension
# EndSubSection
|

#ln -s /lib/modules/2.6.17-gentoo-r4/video/nvidia.ko /usr/X11R6/lib/xorg/modules/drivers/
espero que te sirva. ASEGURATE DE REEMPLAZAR TU KERNEL CON LA VERSION QUE ESTES USANDO ! , VES QUE ES /lib/modules/"TU KERNEL" NO! /usr/src/"TU KERNEL". |

Code: | cat /proc/driver/nvidia/agp/*
Fast Writes: Supported
SBA: Supported
AGP Rates: 8x 4x
Registers: 0x1f000e1b:0x1f000312

AGP Rates: 8x 4x
Registers: 0x1f000a1b:0x1f000b1a
Status: Enabled
Driver: AGPGART
AGP Rate: 8x
Fast Writes: Enabled
SBA: Enabled |
en el xorg.conf tengo lo siguiente:
Code: | # **********************************************************************

# Any number of graphics device sections may be present
# Standard VGA Device:
Section "Device"

|
|
PS: espero que te sirva de ayuda en algo este post tambien .. algunos links http://gentoo-wiki.com/HARDWARE_Nvidia_Driver_AGP_FastWrite_and_Side_Band_Addressing _________________ always Forward, backwards not even to take impulse! |

Code: | glxgears
5926 frames in 5.0 seconds = 1185.026 FPS
5635 frames in 5.0 seconds = 1126.969 FPS
5779 frames in 5.0 seconds = 1155.738 FPS
6067 frames in 5.0 seconds = 1213.359 FPS
5923 frames in 5.0 seconds = 1184.566 FPS
6058 frames in 5.0 seconds = 1211.197 FPS
6590 frames in 5.0 seconds = 1317.821 FPS
|
Code: | glxinfo |grep rendering
direct rendering: Yes
|
https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-309022-highlight-rendimiento.html

PS: son solo 208mb al parecer.. es mejor ke bajarse el livecd 2006.0 _________________ always Forward, backwards not even to take impulse! |

Host Bridge: PCI device 1106:3189
Fast Writes: Supported
SBA: Supported
AGP Rates: 8x 4x
Registers: 0x1f000a1b:0x1f000b12
Status: Enabled
Driver: NVIDIA

¿Has probado a usar nvidia-drivers?
