|
|
Yesterday, I completed a net based stage 3 install.
When I went to do my first emerge -uD system, it said that pam-login was blocking shadow.
So I did emerge --unmerge pam-login, then I completed my emerge -uD system.
Anything I should be worried about?
I've not heard of shadow until today... _________________ There are 10 kinds of people in the world: People who understand binary and those that don't.

There have been a number of posts regarding this. It's OK to remove pam-login. |

Moved from Other Things Gentoo to Duplicate Threads.
[mod]Moved this thread to dupes in favour of this thread. You should search before you post a new thread. The link I've posted is to a sticky thread on P&P, the correct forum, about this issue.[/mod] _________________ Jorge.
