Hi,

I have tried several installs of various distros. The last being Gentoo. After I do installs, and reboot the machine, I am getting the message

Quote:
File does not appear executable

This has only just started happening. Is this something to do with the Sun disk label? I am sure I haven't deleted it, as "Whole disk" was almost definately seen during the last fdisk.

Can anyone help?

Thanks,

Chris.

Can you show everything leading up to this? That is, where in the boot process are you?

Managed to get Debian Sarge installed. Using the auto-partition must have re-built the Sun Whole Disk bit.

Thanks for helping.

Chris.
