I got banned from otw, but I'd still ike to read it
I fully understand the not-posting thing
but I hate that I have to log off and that can't follow the threads I posted in with 'find my posts' and then simply clicking on it
considerable or do we do everything to make the lives of the banned as hard as possible |

More like, "we do the minimum amount required to protect the integrity of the forums." It's easier to ban folks entirely from OTW than try to allow read-only access. As you noted, you can still log out of your account in order to read OTW, so it's not like you've been shut out entirely. Inconvenient? Probably. That's just one more reason to mind your P's and Q's so that you don't get banned in the first place.

If we wanted to make life for people harder, we would ban them completely from the forums, not only OTW if they misbehave.
