I guess the whole point of this thread is gone now that lilo is no more.

I feel there were really two distinct discussions in this thread:
- one related to lilo's exposed 'way of life', which I find indeed 'National Enquirer/Fox News-esque'
- one related to freenode, and the question of moving to another server.
I feel like relating one to the other is mostly irrelevant, the only relevant ones being for the network's policy/ethics and/or technical reasons.
