I am about to migrate my x86 to amd64.
Because I have a x86 laptop, may I copy the laptop partition to my desktop and chroot to it from adm64? If yes how?

Thanks

Just remember to put:

Code:
linux32

before the chroot command.

Of course you will have to emerge linux32 first.

actually, it's setarch, and it's in the system package list, so you don't have to emerge it seperately
