Does any body know a excellent Catalyst Forum, IRC and mailing list, and completed literature on how to use Catalyst to create a personal LiveCD. The HOWTO wiki seems incomplete and vague. Trying to gather as much info as possble before using tool. Complete beginner on this.
Also, if anybody knows any success stories, I would appreciate hearing them .. just want to be confident if it is (or is not for that matter) the right way to go.
Thanks everyone |

No, I think the Catalyst you are referring to is more for web developement. I have been reading (more like coming across) a few articles about a Gentoo tool, named "catalyst" that can been used to build your own LiveCD. It is this Gentoo "catalyst" tool that I am referring to.
Thanks anyway, but so far I have not found anything except those wiki-HOWTO's on it ... and they don't seem to be clear, ot complete.
Any other tips, sites, forums etc.. or anything at all relating to this Gentoo "catalyst" tool would be greatly appreciated from anyone.
How does one start using it, and then, where does one go from there???
Thanks for listening, regardless. |
