Witam mam taki problem z DMA

Nie moge wlaczyc tego dma, przez to straznie wolo mi dysk chodzi. Czy ktos cos poradzi??

| A jak zabootujesz z jakiegoś livecd to jest dma czy nie? Jak jest to posłuż sie konfigiem jajka z livecd wstępnie, a potem powoli dostrajaj. |

Witam, ja mam identyczny problem i już nie wiem jak sobie z nim poradzić, przeglądałem forum, próbowałem różnych ustawień w kernelu i dalej to samo  | Code: | /dev/hda:

Samo DMA to za mało. Brakuje ci jeszcze wsparcia dla kontrolera dysków PATA.

Ustawiłem tak jak w tym poście z tym, że zamiast Intel PIIXn chipsets support ustawiłem ALI M15x3 chipset support (mam ASrock 939DUAL-SATA2) i dalej "operation not premitted".

Ja juz poradzilem sobie z moim probemem, poszukajcie dokladnie w jajku czy macie wkompilowane odpowiednie sterowniki chisetu.

Wsparcie było, ale w kernelu z 2.6.16-gentoo-r9 i 2.6.17-rc5 coś nie chciało współpracować. W 2.6.17-rc6 wszystko działa jak należy.

a więc problemy z DMA zakończone, i to zarówno dla autora, jak i dla osoby, która skorzystała z wątku i się do niego podpięła. Proponuję więc, aby autor dodał [SOLVED]
