Hi Gentoo community,
hopefully you can help me.
I searched for some time now after an good database modeler for postgresql on gentoo, which should be for free.
To make it clearly I want to make ERM models (Entity Relationship Models).
I tried DBDesigner (from fabforce) some years ago. But as I wanted to install it this time, it wouldn't start the program at all. And it is mainly written for mysql. And its development has stopped.
Are there any other possibilites? _________________ Gentoo compiles you to heaven

I have looking for exactly the same thing without success. I did find however MySQL Workbench (http://forums.mysql.com/list.php?113) that you can download from MySQL, they had a guide in their forums on how to install it on Gentoo. It's still in beta so it's not very stable, the Mac version isn't stable at all it kept crashing on me.
There's also ArgoUML if you're interested doing UML http://argouml.tigris.org/ _________________ ---{insert something funny here}--- |
