Possible to set up laptop as a Bluetooth music device?

My car stereo can connect to and control Bluetooth devices and supposedly has AVRCP v1.3 which can display artist/track info. I can control play (forward/backward) from the steering wheel, which is pretty cool. So I was wondering if it is possible to set up my laptop to act like a Bluetooth-enabled MP3 player or if anyone has experience doing this and what, if any, software exists that would work this way. I haven't found anything really relevant via Google yet.
