I don't understand this. I have "apache2" in my make.conf. Why does emerge still pick apache 1.3.x instead of apache 2.0.x? Thanks in advance (really! I mean it!) for any clues.
hallofjustice root # grep USE /etc/make.conf | grep -v ^#
USE="-X -gnome -kde -java apache2"
hallofjustice root # env-update
>>> Regenerating /etc/ld.so.cache...
hallofjustice root # emerge -p net-www/apache
These are the packages that I would merge, in order:
Calculating dependencies ...done!
[ebuild N ] dev-libs/mm-1.2.1
[ebuild N ] net-www/apache-1.3.27-r3

Apache 2.x is still marked as unstable. set ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86" to emerge it. |
