You ever had a kernel panic with preempt_count=1 at any time other than halt?
If not, do you have APM compiled in kernel? _________________ I work for fun. But only as a means to an end. |

No, I have not had any other kernel panics... actually the machine works perfectly apart from this problem...
Ya, I have compiled APM into the kernel.
I'm trying it as a modules now... (Compiling some other modules aswell for my CDwriter) |

It worked!
With APM as a module I can turn off my computer without a crash! |
