Hello!
I just had problems with my norwegian caracters and fount that even if rc.local was goody configured I still had to make a .inputrc file in the users home dir. The file now contains the text:>
set meta-flag on
set output-meta on
set convert-meta off
Now all works (characters æøå is the troubbled ones). Should this not be default? (got the tip from a local friend/guru).
Second question. Can I echo the Gentoo version? (like Gentoo 1.1a or 1.2 etc).
Hope you can help. _________________ Best regards

No. If you do an emerge -u world, then your entire system is upgraded to the latest release of everything. _________________ Postcount ++ |
