i have a SUN E250,i want to install Gentoo on it.May i intall install-sparc64-universal-2006.0.iso

Gentoo runs well on an E250. Unfortunately, Xorg won't detect the video card when using a 2.6 kernel

So you will be stuck using the 2.4 kernel if you wish to use it as an X desktop.

Xorg has the fixing of PCI domains on the roadmap for 7.2 (next release).
