/var/lib/cache/beagle/indexs empty

I've emerged apps-misc/beagle-0.2.6 and changed the no to yes in /etc/beagle/crawl-documentation, and as root executed the script /cron.daily/beagle-crawl-system. It has been a couple of days and nothing is in "/var/lib/cache/beagle/index". "/var/lib/cache/beagle/indexes" has ownership beagleindex beagleindex.

How do I get static indexing to work?
