Hi,
I've just bought an AOpen FM56-PX modem with conexant hcf 06834-11 chipset. I installed the hcf modem driver without trouble. Using minicom, I've run the follow AT commands to try to get the speakerphone working:
at+fclass=8
at+vsp=1
at+vdx=1
atd
When I do this, I get a split second of dial tone, then silence. A series of 'd.' appears on the screen, probably from the dialtone. I can dial, too, but still can't hear anything.
Anyone have a speakerphone modem working?
Thanks,
qbf

The plot thickens: When I do the above, but with a number (ie atd5555555), the other side can hear me. But I can't hear them! I have tried both a speaker plugged into the external speaker jack, and connecting the TAD output to a soundblaster. |
