Ahh there goes my 41 day uptime.. again! Why?

Okay, this is the second time this has happened to me. I'm running vanilla source 2.4.20 + ACPI patch on my Compaq Presario 731US. I'm not sure whether it was 41 days or 42 days, either way after this amount of time my keyboard stops responding. I can't press caps lock nor use any of the keys. Unfortunately, I didn't have sshd running to log in and check if there were any errors (or if I could log in at all). Mouse works fine and everything else in X. Console gave the same results. Any ideas?

FWIW, that timespan is very close to 2^10 hours and 2^22 seconds. How do your logfiles look when the keyboard locks up?
