Hello All,
I'm running 2.6 kernel on SunFire280R.
I have some problems running Darwin Streaming Server I've compiled on this machine with gcc/g++, so I'd like to try with egcs (Installation script should do some optimization with this compiler)
Here is my emerge info:

egcs? Wow! It's been a long time since I last heard anyone ask about that one. egcs was created in 1997 as a gcc fork and was merged again in 1999. Actually, it was more like egcs became gcc but that's another story... :-)
egcs was a nice compiler at that time and I switched to it, too, but I would rather use Watcom than egcs today.
You might be able to get it somewhere on the net but it won't solve your problems but create new ones. |
