|
|
Hello all,
I've come across a problem I just can't fix.
I emerge wesnoth, works great, everything is installed and seems to have the right premissions.
Added my user to games group with Code: | gpasswd -a stobbsm games |
double checked in the games group, and I'm there!
Try to run it. No go.
Path is setup properly, permissions are set properly. Trying to run by using Code: | /usr/games/bin/wesnoth | gives me a premission denied error. Root can run it fine.
Just to test something, I changed all the wesnoth related files to root:users.
Now regular users can start it, but no sound plays
I'm on an amd64 running an x86 system.
Code: | emerge --info

anybody??
I searched the forums, and bugs.gentoo.org.
Found people with the same problem, but no solutions yet. _________________ Sysadmin of Ubuntu systems and servers....
