package sets for real uae cases?

I'm using gentoo for more than a decade now but what I really miss is easy usable package sets for real use cases.
Think of doing a stage3 install and then just emerge
* @gnome-desktop
* @gaming-box
* @nas-server-appliance
* @file-server-appliance
* @firewall-appliance
* @django-web-server-appliance
...
configure it (with graphical frontend??) and be done.

Why don't we have this?
