I finally got most of my server set up, and i'm onto the final thing, that being printing. of course, it gets hard now :p.
i'm trying to follow the CUPS printing guide, as i've never done this before. i get to the part where you send a small file to be printed. i don't have /dev/lp0 as a device. therefore, i can't print anything.
anyone have any ideas, solutions, or pointers to a place where i can find a solution?
specs:
HP LaserJet 1100 Printer
Dell Dimension XPS R400 (400 Mhz)
128 MB of RAM |
