Raga ho cercato di emergere gnome digitando:
ma a un certo punto non riesce a scaricare il file poppler/0.4.3-utils.patch.gz da nessun server finche non arriva ad un server ftp col quale fa 5 tentativi di connessione e, una volta falliti tutti e 5 stoppa l`emerge...
Ho provato anche con l`utility mirrorselect ma nulla... ora vi sto scrivendo da un windowmaker e visualizzo la pagina grazie al comando
A questo punto vi chiedo anche come fare per estrarre il file firefox-1.5.0.1.tar.gz per poi installarlo??? pare che l`utility tar non c voglia riuscire.

Perché non fai:

In quanto al problema di poppler, potrebbe essere che il file non si é ancora propagato su tutti i mirror. Riprova tra un paio di ore...
