Hallo.
After changing the rig, I've been without a Gentoo for a month at home.
(Changed at work from Debian to Gentoo though )
Well, bought an external USB harddrive case and found out that it doesn't work with M$ Windows (XP || 98 ). So here's the question, has anybody a working symbiosis of nforce2 and external usb devices (burners and other heavy i/o devices)? I haven't switched to linux yet, because NVidia doesn't want to give me agpgart and ATI doesn't have XFree 4.3 drivers for Radeon 9xxx. But if my external case works under linux, then well, I guess I don't have much choice and install some kind of tux-soft.
Thank you for your attention. _________________ Greetings,

i don't really know about usb 2.0 because i don't use it since i have no decent devices for it
nforce 2 runs smooth as hell though, even though i didn't build the NFORCE2 support in. Gaming sources rule, btw! |
