Anyone know how to make the servername for a ut2004 dedicated server colorful? How should I edit Default.ini to get that working right? |

As far as I know you can't. IIRC Epic took the excellent move of disabling colours in player names back in UT2003 (because it was being abused) and the game has been better for it ever since.
The only place I can think of where you might be able to colour the "server name" is in the motd message shown when people join the server.
You'll probably get a much better response to this question if you ask on the official forums at http://ataricommunity.com/

That makes sense that they'd take that out. Nonetheless there's still the occasional server that manages to have a colored name when you browse internet games, so maybe they're using a nonstandard or outdated dedicated server. Oh well, it's not nearly as big a deal as learning the console commands and such. |
