Hi, I'm having a problem with xfce-base/xfce-mcs-manager (4.2.3): Xfce 4 mcs manager:

When X is already launched, I can open a terminal, and then issue
Code:
$ xfce-mcs-manager
And it works.

But, if I try issuing this command on tty1 (for instance) I get

(xfce-mcs-manager:4174): Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display:


Then if I do:

$ DISPLAY=:0 xfce-mcs-manager

It justs kills my X session

The only log I have is in /var/log/messages:

Do you know why?what am I missing? how can I launch xfce-mcs-manager from the console?

I didn't see anything related in Xorg.0.log, but here it is:

Since in Xorg.0.log the warning WW seems to com from nvidia, changing some of theses values may help :?:
