When I do a
Code:
emerge -up world
I get the following output:
Code:

These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

Calculating world dependencies ...done!

[ebuild    UD] net-www/galeon-1.2.7-r1 [1.3.3]

According to the man page, UD means that "...is already emerged, but if you run the command, then portage will Downgrade...". Is there a way I can stop this as Im kinda happy with 1.3.3?

Cheers
Colin

Hey, I'm having the same problem. Even with -U i still get it:

Code:
mattbox matt # emerge -UDp world
>>> --upgradeonly implies --update... adding --update to options.

These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

Calculating world dependencies ...done!
[ebuild    UD] app-cdr/cdrtools-1.11.33 [2.01_alpha05]

mattbox matt #

Any ideas?
