Does anyone know if there is an available ebuild for gnome-2.14.3 yet? After an emerge sync this morning, I still only have gnome-2.14.2.
According to: http://www.osnews.com/story.php?news_id=15371 it appears that it's been released. Just curious.
Thanks. |

You need to emerge xscreensaver and than convert the screensaver... after this you can't unmerge xscreensaver _________________ Please EU, pimp my country!

You mean that the ebuild of gnome-screensaver contains only 4 screensavers?
Than I'll replace it with xscreensaver
Thanks

| I just checked packages.gentoo.org and gnome-light 2.14.0 is still in ~x86. Is there any news on this? I use gnome-light, and I'm wondering why the newest version is still considered unstable. |

Probably because it's easily blown over in light winds, and needs a little bit more time to gain some weight so it'll be stable outside. |

I'm having no luck getting the nautilus "Share Folder" function to work.
Both of my systems are running the nfs, nfsmount and netmount services.
In the popup dialog, I share a folder as an NFS mount, and the appropriate entry gets added to /etc/exports, but I have to manually restart /etc/init.d/nfs before it actually gets exported.
On the other side of the problem, I can't seem to get nautilus or whatever to autodetect exported NFS mounts on the network. I can manually mount them as root though, using:
| Code: | | mount hostname:/dir/path mountdir |
Can someone point me to some information on what needs to be done to have the system automatically update the exported NFS mounts and to automatically scan, detect and mount remote exported NFS mounts? |
